WUNRN
Programs identify best practices and positive actions to eliminate
intolerance and discrimination against women and girls based on
religions and traditions. Programs are listed under the Juridical
and Factual Aspects of the UN Human Rights Study (E/CN.4/202/73/Add.2).
Programs describe actions and approaches organizations are taking
to eliminate the negative manifestations of intolerance and discrimination
against women and girls based on religion and traditions. Programs
include activities such as capacity building, social services,
health programs, education opportunities, conferences, workshops,
etc.
The organization, sponsor or publisher of the program is identified under categories
of the WUNRN Anthology of Organizations. International, regional, national and
local programs are listed. To strengthen the work of the United Nations and Member
States, WUNRN can provide information for their review and possible inclusion
in their current databases, indicators and indexes.
