Harvard University Women's Studies in Religion
Program (WSRP)
Harvard University Divinity School has two programs of interest to this UN Study;
the Women's Studies in Religion Program and the Center for the Study of World
Religions. The Women's Studies in Religion Program (WSRP) promotes critical
inquiry into the interaction between religion and gender. It sponsors research
and teaching in feminist theology, biblical studies, ethics and women's history,
as well as interdisciplinary scholarship on women throughout the world's religions.
The Center for the Study of World Religions (CSWR) is known for its graduate
degree fellowship programs and a wide variety of research. Publications include
Religions of the World, Religions of the World and Ecology, Studies in World
Religions and other titles. Diana L. Eck is the Acting Director.
