but it happens every day in war-ravaged countries such as Cambodia.
In
that nation, much of the population live on less than most of us
spend on lunch: under $3 a day.
In the poorest neighborhoods, sex
traders troll for young girls. Parents are paid several hundred dollars
for their daughters, a veritable fortune in a land where pineapples
sell for 30 cents and a group of four can eat a restaurant meal for
less than $5.
