An Opportunity Grant is intended to help groups try out new ideas,
implement their plans or make the most of circumstances where there may be a
good chance to bring about some sort of positive change.
Applying for an Opportunity grant
Please read the following guidance before you submit an application for an
Opportunity grant.
We will assess applications as quickly as we can. This may take up to 6-8 weeks
per application.
If a decision is made to offer an Opportunity grant, we will be in touch to
discuss details and carry out some financial due diligence enquiries.
Applications from youth-led groups
We welcome applications from groups that support and lead the engagement of
young people and girls to shape, implement, monitor and ensure accountability
for the new global goals.
We want to support the energy and ideas of young people, and support their role
in ensuring the success of the new global development agenda that connect to
our priority theme areas.
Groups can apply for an Opportunity grant...
- to try a new idea for SRHR
advocacy
- to make the most of a political or
social opportunity
- to experiment
- to carry out needed activities
- to learn and share lessons
This grant serves as an opportunity for your organisation to contribute to making or supporting change to help improve SRHR.
