29 April 2015 - As civilians have fled war-torn areas of eastern Ukraine, they've left behind their homes, their possessions, and sometimes their dogs and cats. Hundreds of these abandoned animals have wound up at a shelter on the outskirts of Kyiv, where a small staff is stretching its limited resources to feed and house the influx of strays.
