Engaging Men...?
*Note: The purpose of this survey is to gain
a better understanding of the ways in which men have interacted with women in
the Industry. The “Industry” will be defined for the purposes of this survey as
the collective of organizations and agencies with missions directly addressing
the issues of sexual and/or intimate partner violence.
Your participation in this research study is voluntary. If you
decide to participate in this survey, you may withdraw at any time. This survey
will take approximately 15-30 minutes depending on the length of your
responses. No identifying information will be collected unless participants
choose to enter into the Gift Card Raffle, and/or select that they would be
interested in follow-up interviews. The only identifying information to be
collected will be participants’ email address. Any identifying information
collected in these processes will be kept confidential via password protected
file and destroyed following completion of this project. There are no risks or
direct benefits to individuals participating in this research. This research
has been reviewed and approved by the IRB for research involving human
subjects.
Participants for this study must be women, at least 18 years of
age or older. Participants will consent whether or not to participate in this
online survey by choosing “I Agree” or “I Disagree.” Participants who select “I
Agree” will be taken to another page in which they will be able to complete the
survey. Participants who select “I Disagree” will have their survey submitted,
and will be unable to complete the survey.
Participants who complete the survey will be have the option to
enter into a raffle for a $200 Amazon.com Gift Card that will be emailed out to
the winner following the culmination of this project.
