Toolkit
{Accountability for the Post-2015 Framework}
A
set of core resources for SRHR advocates worldwide
What is the purpose of the
toolkit?
The toolkit should enable
readers to identify key issues and challenges related to accountability in the
post-2015 agenda, and draw up a strategy for action leading to the post-2015
Summit using information and other resources assembled for this purpose.
Who is the toolkit for?
This toolkit is for members of
the EuroNGOs- The European NGOs for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights,
Population and Development and other civil society organizations that want to address
the accountability deficit of global development policies as a matter of urgent
priority. The main target audience is colleagues who work on advocacy,
policy and research and communication.
How to use the toolkit
This toolkit, created to support
advocacy activities in the framework of the post-2015 development agenda,
is a collection of selected resources that aim to provide sector practitioners
with knowledge on accountability and access to information on current
discussions within the post-2015 agenda.
How was the toolkit
developed?
This toolkit was developed on the
base of the presentations, discussions and ideas that emerged from the "Accountability
for the post-2015 development framework: untapping civil society
potential" workshop co-hosted by EuroNGOs members Alianza por la
Solidaridad and Federación de Planificación Familiar Estatal in Madrid on 29
October 2014. The meeting gathered 83 representatives from 43 organizations
working on sexual and reproductive health and rights across 21 countries.
