Mediation Beyond Borders International Training
Institute (MBBITI) will hold its 4th International Training Institute in
conjunction with the Annual Congress in Bucharest, Romania from April 20-22nd,
2015.
The training will gather up to 25
community and civil society leaders for a 3-day institute in peacebuilding
practices. Applicants from MBB’s projects in the region and from the South
East Asia region (this includes Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Laos,
Myanmar (Burma), Indonesia, the Philippines, East Timor and Singapore) will be
accepted based upon their applications.
A limited number of scholarships is
available for candidates from the selected regions in South East Asia only.
However, we encourage everyone who is looking for a way to promote women
leadership in peace building to apply and to help us make a difference.
The program seeks women and men
- who will bring their leadership
experience in civil society and government to empower women as peace
leaders
- with the ability, commitment
and aspirations to become active change agents in peacebuilding mediation
and conflict transformation in their respective communities
- Women and men committed to
redefining their roles and working with a gender-sensitivity to help
transform their communities together.
The
International Training Institute will be held in English.
