How does it feel to be given short
notice to abandon your family home as it will be blown up for political,
security reasons. For women and children, home is very much the center of their
world, a refuge. To be evicted, even if with some compensation, it is not
possible to take all the treasured, necessary and sentimental belongings.
Indeed, the women in this region of Egypt's border with Gaza are "caught
in the crossfire."
