UNECE - United Nations Economic
Commission for Europe - one of 5 UN Regional Commissions - UNECE's major aim is to
promote pan-European economic integration. To do so, it brings together 56 countries located in the European
Union, non-EU Western and Eastern Europe, South-East Europe and Commonwealth of
Independent States (CIS) and North America.
In collaboration with the UN ECE*, the NGO
Committee on the Status of Women, Geneva (NGO CSW Geneva), will host an NGO Forum in
preparation of the Beijing+20 UN ECE Regional Review on 3-5 November 2014 in the Palais
des Nations – Geneva, prior to the UN ECE regional review
meeting of 6-7 November.
National & International Women’s
Rights Advocates,
Grass-roots Women’s
Groups and Networks,
as well as UN
Agencies and Academic Institutions, Media and Private Sector Actors
from the 56
countries of the UN ECE region
are cordially
invited to participate and contribute!
