On October 2, 2013, the US State Department’s Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons announced an open competition for funding of projects to combat trafficking in persons outside of the U.S.
U.S.-based non-profit and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), foreign NGOs, and institutions of higher education are eligible to apply for funding under this solicitation. On a limited basis, for-profit organizations are also eligible to apply; however, they may not take a profit from grant-funded activities.

The
Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons (J/TIP) has posted the Fiscal
Year 2014 Request for Statements of Interest. Informational materials,
including a statement from Ambassador Luis CdeBaca and a FAQs page, are
posted on our website in addition to the solicitation language.
Non-governmental
organizations interested in applying for J/TIP funding are encouraged to view
all posted material, and check back often for updates. Responses to all
inquiries will be posted on the FAQs page.
