Muslima: Muslim Women’s Arts & Voices spotlights the art, voices, and ideas of a new generation of Muslim women, addressing myths and prejudices about Muslim women and fostering understanding between Muslims and non-Muslims in the U.S. and globally.

Take part in this revolutionary exhibition. We encourage you to submit your art, creative writing, personal stories, journalism, music, audio, video, photography, animation, or any form of media for consideration. You do not need to be Muslim to be included in the exhibition!

We welcome and encourage works from all faiths and backgrounds as long as one of the faiths represented in the submission is Islam. We hope to receive enough interfaith submissions to create a new, interfaith gallery in the exhibition. Submissions for the Interfaith gallery should represent or be inspired by interfaith interactions, initiatives, encounters or dialogues.

As part of this final call we welcome submissions for any of the project’s online galleries, including Power, Leadership, Appearance, Myths, Generations, Faith, Change, and Connection. Through the lens of these themes, the project will confront stereotypes about Muslim women, identify new visions and inspire visitors to take action.
