This
issue of Gender & Development is
an exciting collection of new articles examining men’s roles in promoting
gender equality and women’s rights. A follow-up to our 1997 Men & Masculinity issue, and with
working with men on gender equality now much more widespread, this issue sees
practitioners, policy makers and researchers sharing their experience of
feminist work with men in the context of continuing debates over how
pro-feminist men are working in partnership with women’s rights, agendas and
organisations.
