This section offers a collection of key resource material related to the practice of FGM and the existing frameworks developed to end the practice and protect affected women and girls. It is aimed for activists, lawyers, policy makers, government officials, civil society actors, researchers and anyone else who wants to investigate the issue of FGM in detail.
The resources are divided along the five key areas identified by the END FGM European Campaign, although not limited to the work of the Campaign: Data Collection, Health, FGM and violence against women and girls, International Protection (Asylum) and EU's external relations. You can also discover the existing international and national laws on FGM and the key thematic and country-specific reports from Amnesty International.
Each resource has a summary and a link to the actual document.
