WUNRN
Women Deliver is a global advocacy organization that brings together
voices from around the world to call for action to improve the health and
well-being of girls and women. Investing in girls and women – whether it is
political, financial, or human resource commitments – leads to healthier
families, communities, and economies. Join us on May 28-30, 2013 in Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia, to call on world leaders to move from promises to progress
for girls and women.
At the Women Deliver 2013 conference, we expect more than 5,000 participants
from Ministries of Health, Finance and Development Cooperation, Parliaments,
leading civil society organizations, global companies, media and more. Through
our groundbreaking conferences we convened in 2007 and 2010, Women Deliver
galvanized political commitment, financial investments and on-the-ground action
to reduce maternal mortality and achieve universal access to reproductive
health. In 2013, we will focus on the links between health and other issues
critical to the empowerment of girls and women, including education,
environment, human rights, and more. More than 120 concurrent sessions,
high-level plenaries, skills-building workshops, and ministerial and
parliamentarian forums will inspire and inform your work to build a better
world for girls and women.
