We are writing to you
today to invite you to join us in The
International Campaign to Stop Rape & Gender Violence in Conflict.
An alarming number of
women and girls around the world experience sexual violence. From Congo
and Kenya to Burma and Colombia, rape is used as a weapon to humiliate people
and tear apart communities. Organizations and individuals – like yourself –
have been working long and hard to stop gender violence and support women. The
Campaign will bring us together to demand action from our governments to stop rape and gender violence in
conflict. We know it is a huge and daunting challenge but…now’s
the time!
Together we will demand
bold political leadership to prevent
rape in conflict, to protect
civilians and rape survivors, and call for justice for all, including effective
prosecution
of those responsible. Learn more about
