This report details presentations and discussions from the SVRI’s Second International Forum, successfully held in Cape Town, South Africa, from 10 - 13 October 2011. The conference brought 215 participants from 34 countries together to share and network over a 4-day period. The aim of the SVRI Forum was to build on research priorities identified at Forum 2009 and to further develop and strengthen the evidence base on what is effective and what the research agenda should be to inform programmes and to prevent sexual violence.
