Obesity is also a growing and serious concern for adolescents in both industrialized countries and the developing world.

Among OECD countries, Organizsation for Economic Co-Operation and Development http://www.oecd.org/countrieslist/0,3025,en_33873108_33844430_1_1_1_1_1,00.html

the highest levels of obesity (2007 data) of adolescents were found in the four southern European countries of Greece, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, together with the mainly Anglophone nations of Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.(UNICEF: Tracking Progress on Child & Maternal Nutrition - A Survival & Development Priority 2009, pp. 12-14.)

WUNRN would be interested in updated data on underweight and overweight issues for the health of adolescent girls, and the intersectionality with poverty, displacement, educational status, climate change crises +
