BIRTH REGISTRATION IS VITALLY
IMPORTANT FOR THE GIRL CHILD

the most without birth registration. If she is not registered, she may be
denied education and health care. She may be forced into child marriage or into
child labour. She may be exploited in child prostitution or trafficked. As she
grows older, she may not be able to access a multitude of rights as to legal
marriage and parent rights, work permits, social security, right to vote,
inheritance, national identity papers.
