Discussions on the
Future of Maternal & Reproductive Health
We are fast approaching the deadline for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in 2015, and the deadline for the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) Program of Action in 2014. At this time, it is critical for those in the maternal and reproductive health field to take stock of the progress made, lessons learned, and challenges ahead, and to look at how the landscape around these issues could change in the future. What will happen to the MDGs and ICPD after 2015?
We need your voice, experience, and views of successes and challenges to shape the dialogue on the future of the development goals. We need everyone, from policymakers to health workers to advocates around the world, to join the conversation.
Your recommendations will be submitted to governments, civil society organizations, and UN agencies as they consider plans to move beyond 2015, and your suggestions will inform Women Deliver's future advocacy work and conferences.
