Building off the original My Changing Body, the Institute for Reproductive Health, with support from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), developed a second edition of the fertility awareness manual for young people, now including additional gender and sexuality participatory exercises, a curriculum for parents, and a curriculum for facilitators. The purpose of the manual is to teach girls and boys ages 10 to 14 years about the changes they experience as they approach puberty. Designed for adults who regularly teach human development and fertility to youth, this interactive manual can be used as a stand-alone curriculum or as a supplement to other reproductive health training materials for youth.
