the first International Widows' Day (23 June),
this Say NO - UNiTE video,"The Forgotten Woman," highlights the
plight of some of the millions of Indian widows who are abandoned by their
families and turn to the streets, where they face a number of challenges,

"The
Forgotten Woman" was inspired by the 2006 Academy AwardŽ nominee for
Best Foreign Language film, "Water."
