Request for Proposals

We are now accepting proposals for the 2^nd World Conference of Women’s Shelters.

The deadline for submitting proposals is February 27, 2011.

We encourage programs that work with victims of violence in safe spaces or organizations that support shelters and safe spaces to submit a proposal. We are looking for proposals related to violence against women and shelters and safe spaces. If you have innovative practices, knowledge and skills that will give delegates tangible tools and knowledge to take home, we encourage you to submit a proposal.

When you are ready to submit your proposal please take the following steps:

When you are ready to submit your proposal, please fill out the form online by going here.

Proposal Deadline

The deadline for submitting proposals is February 27, 2011. We will be reviewing and accepting proposals on a rolling basis, however, so please try to get your proposal in early.

Honorariums and Travel Assistance for Speakers

At this time we are unable to commit to paying honorariums for speakers, waiving or reducing registration fees, or assisting with travel or lodging costs. If you are selected, please be sure to make the necessary arrangements to pay for these costs. When we know if we will be able to provide financial assistance, we will invite accepted speakers to apply for travel stipends.
