ABU DHABI —A questionnaire on the professional, social,
cultural and economic impact of a working woman will be distributed during the
first quarter of the year, Dr Amal Al Qubaisi, member of the Federal National
Council (FNC) and Chairwoman of the Consultative Committee for the Women
Employees in the Federal Government, announced on Wednesday.
The survey, she said, would explore current situation, requirements of the female public employees and challenges they are facing in that respect. The Committee met on Wednesday to discuss the contents of the questionnaire.
“Findings will be analysed to identify the most pressing demands of the working woman in order to hatch concepts in coordination with the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources on the best mechanisms towards a supporting work environment for woman. that preserve her right, as well as interest of work and family alike,” she added. —
