BAHRAIN YOUNG WOMEN - THE BRIDGE TO OURSELVES
Both Be-Free Center and Bahrain Polytechnic College formed a club for college students. The club helps the women students to understand and communicate with themselves, discover their capabilities, develop their character, control their lives, and help their peers too.
The first condensed course of this club, titled "the bridge to ourselves", started with a group of students, and covers 4 phases:
- The bridge to the present: Understanding the present,
focusing on how a person can understand his character, his feelings, and
his values.
- The bridge to the past: understanding childhood, and
its reflection a person's life.
- The bridge to the future: Understanding what shapes the
future, fears; hopes; values, etc.
- Linking all the bridges and living in the present:
building a peaceful link to the past, while consciously choosing the
future path, and working with hope and love to achieve it in the present.
Colleges and Universities students are given special attention from Be-Free Center, because of their special abilities to make positive change and effective influence in the community, and encourage others to have such effect too. They are also the parents and caregivers of future generations, which Be-Free hopes will be more safe, and happy by gaining essential skills to communicate with themselves and others.
