Arab-Danish Dialogue on Gender Gets New Platform - WoMen Dialogue

Together with partners from the Middle East, North Africa and Denmark, KVINFO now launches the first website to focus on the rights of women in both Denmark and the MENA region.

Womendialogue.org offers articles, news and debate in Arabic, English and Danish, as well as work tools to support cooperation and joint efforts to promote gender equality for partners involved in projects under KVINFO's programmes in the region.

WoMen Dialogue is a platform provided by KVINFO – the Danish Centre for Information on Gender, Equality and Ethnicity. WoMen Dialogue supports cooperation and encourages debate and the exchange of knowledge between Danish and Arab civil society on issues relating to gender and women’s rights. 

WoMen Dialogue provides a platform for public and private dialogue and debate on gender and women’s rights issues. This includes virtual working groups for Danish and Arab project partners.

WoMen Dialogue presents high-quality information to the public in Denmark and the Arab region on the subject of gender and women’s rights issues. The site primarily informs about joint partnership activities, but also presents relevant news on reform processes, as seen from a gender perspective. 

WoMen Dialogue is open and accessible to all but also offers special facilities for individuals and organisations involved in joint partnership projects with KVINFO.  

WoMen Dialogue covers four thematic areas, corresponding to the areas of engagement in KVINFO’s MENA programmes: Legal Change; Women in the Public Sphere; Gender-based Violence and; Research, Documentation and Debate on Gender Issues.
