the Status of Women 54th Sessionn - 2010 - Beijing + 15 Review
Outcomes
On 2 March 2010, the Commission on the Status of Women adopted a Declaration on the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women (E/CN.6/2010/L.1). This Declaration will be brought to the attention of the Economic and Social Council for transmission to the General Assembly for its endorsement.
On 12 March, the Commission on the Status of Women adopted seven resolutions, as follows:
- Women, the girl child and HIV/AIDS

those subsequently imprisoned, in armed conflicts
[Advance unedited version] - The situation of and assistance to Palestinian women
[Advance unedited version] - Women’s economic empowerment
[Advance unedited version] - Eliminating preventable maternal mortality and
morbidity through the empowerment of women
[Advance unedited version] - Strengthening the institutional arrangements of the
United Nations
for support of gender equality and the empowerment of women by
consolidating the four existing offices into a composite entity
[Advance unedited version] - Ending female genital mutilation

Also on 12 March, the Commission on the Status of Women decided to transmit the following Moderator’s summaries to the 2010 Annual Ministerial Review of the Economic and Social Council:
