story telling has proven to be an amazing vehicle with which to give voices to
largely ‘unheard’ individuals and recognize this medium as being a powerful
advocacy tool.
The
Centre hopes to expand the project by establishing an on-site media centre,
which will enable us to make short documentaries of experiences of vulnerable
groups such as women and child survivors of gender-based violence, youth in
relation to drugs and violence, transgenedered and gender non-conforming
individuals – all those who, by and large, still remain voiceless.
