Survey Questionnaire to Assess Internet Accessibility, Usage, and Vision for Women Working on the Human Settlement Agenda

The Huairou Commission and UN-Habitat are joining together to establish an online collaborative space to promote information and knowledge sharing on human settlements and gender equality. Gender is at the core of human settlements work and information infrastructure is an integral component of the same.

Recognizing the role of women as beholders of knowledge and information critical to development efforts, this web portal will be an internet-based knowledge center that enables the accumulation of knowledge and the promotion of beneficial practices to support women involved in human settlements. It will link grassroots and local expertise to professional and academic research and policy-making, joining them together in the same space for real, representative and effective development practices for the welfare of all stakeholders in human settlements.

We are conducting this Survey to solicit feedback and inputs on your ability to access and use the information technology infrastructure as well as your informational needs. We appreciate your time in participating in this survey.
