As part of AWID's year-long efforts to mark the 15th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, we are delighted to launch this discussion forum to explore the achievements and challenges in advancing women rights and gender equality since Beijing, in addition to envisioning the road ahead for our collective struggles.

The discussion forum aims to provide you and your organization with a space to share your thoughts on these key issues. AWID, along with our sisters organizations and partners, will highlight your perspectives throughout our participation in the Beijing + 15 review at the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in March 2010. If you are also planning to attend the CSW, we invite you to share the contributions from this discussion forum in your own discussions in New York.
