UN Committee on
Migrant Workers - Monitoring the protection of the rights of all migrant
workers and members of their families.
The
Committee on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of
their Families (CMW) is the body of independent experts that monitors
implementation of the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights
of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families by its State
parties.

The
UN Committee on Migrant Workers also makes General Comments on any issue to
which it believes the States parties should devote more attention.

Migrant Workers - General Comment on Migrant Domestic Workers
CMW to consider a General Comment on Migrant Domestic Workers
Following its Day of general discussion at the Committee’s 11th session, the Committee will consider the adoption of a general comment on migrant domestic workers at its 12th session, to be held in April 2010.
Anyone who would like to provide information or recommendations for consideration by the Committee when it is drafting its general comment, is encouraged to do so in writing by sending a message to: cmw@ohchr.org. Contributions should reach the Committee preferably by the end of February.
