European Parliament Committees
Call for Strategies to Combat VAW
On
10 November 2009 the European Parliament’s Committee for Women’s Rights and
Gender Equality adopted a resolution for the elimination of violence against
women. The resolution advocates for the European Union Council and Commission
to create a legal framework and basis for eliminating violence against women.
