WUNRN
Dear 16 Days Participants,
In less than a week, the annual 16 Days Campaign will launch around the world.
Activities will take place in more than 50 countries, ranging from music
concerts to marches and rallies, blogging marathons to information sessions on
new legal frameworks for addressing violence against women-, and radio
broadcasts on community radio stations to art exhibitions.
No matter where you are, you can find a way to connect to this campaign and encourage
others to get involved by making a personal commitment to bring an end to one
of the world’s most pervasive abuses of human rights. By working together on
this campaign, let’s make sure that the whole world hears our voices this year
from November 25 – December 10. Gender-based violence must stop, and we all
have a role to play. Together, we must Commit, Act, and Demand an end to
violence against women!
