Network's newest report Legal commitments to gender equality and SRHR issues
in Albania, Macedonia, Georgia, Poland and Ukraine was prepared by the
ASTRA Network Secretariat under the auspices of Project Resource Mobilization
and Awareness (RMA), a partnership between Population Action International
(PAI), the German Foundation for World Population (DSW) and the International
Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). The report provides data on the status
regarding the implementation of international agreements into the national
legal systems in five Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries, and
identifies the legal challenges faced by reproductive health programs in CEE.
It's main goal is to call for renewed attention to reproductive health supplies
to avoid putting the health of millions of women at risk and strengthen
national level advocacy on RH commodities supplies in five partner countries in
the CEE.
