IWRAW Asia Pacific is currently
compiling information on the barriers women face when trying to access justice
at the national level. Some
examples of the barriers women face include, lack of access to legal
aid/assistance, less mobility than men, pressure from family/community, lack of
access to resources, prejudice of the police/judiciary etc.
We would appreciate if you can send
us any materials you have on the barriers women face in your context. We
hope that you can also send concrete examples/cases.
