The aim is to evaluate the 20th century in relation to the advances and setbacks which the lives of women have suffered in the world in order to plan our future endeavours. The historical importance of studies about women and gender are theoretical, while it is evident that women’s struggle against oppression is part of the real and definite national independence and the social freedom of peoples.
The Committee will consider the
proposals covering this objective, in its local, regional and/or international
dimension and the evaluation of the historical perspective of the last 100

Congress’s general objectives and who are willing to offer their research and
experiences as instruments for political action and proposals to continue the
struggle for equality and the social emancipation of women.
