Summary
The sub-contracted organization/network will develop a knowledge asset on on ending violence against women and girls through education. The emphasis of the knowledge asset is to deliver ‘distilled’ programming knowledge that is based on the global state-of-the-art, promising practices and expert recommendations that will be identified through research, the institutions in-house knowledge, experience, network and contacts. The knowledge asset will cover key programming areas, such as, educational policies, sector-wide approaches in education, a systems-based approach to education, curriculum for different age groups, teacher/staff training, reaching young people that are in formal and non-formal school, monitoring and evaluation of educational programmes and systems, among other components. The asset will further provide access to a compendium of the leading tools, manuals, organizations and other resources available to support programme implementation.
