1. What national policies or legislative measures has the country in which you are based undertaken to implement provisions outlined in key international slavery instruments[1][1]?
2. Does debt bondage occur in the country in which you are based?
a. If so, what is the cause e.g. poverty ,migration, tradition, trafficking etc?
b. What form does it take e.g. domestic servitude, sexual slavery, in the agricultural sector etc?
c. Who are the people in debt bondage-according to sex and age? Please provide overall and percentage figures.
3. Does the national legislation in the country in which you are based, address issues related to debt bondage? If yes, can you attach copy of legislation (preferably in English language)?
4. Are there any special programs and/or policy measures and/or institutions initiated by the Government to combat debt bondage?
a. Do these programs involve special measures to ensure enforcement of the law, prohibiting debt bondage and related crimes? If yes, what are these measures?
b. Have there been any judicial cases during last five years on debt bondage?
5. Does your NGO have special programs to combat forced labour? If yes, can you give examples of best practice and lessons learnt?
6. Whom do you cooperate with e.g. governments, businesses etc when implementing your programs and how?
9. What concrete actions should be undertaken to combat debt bondage at the:
a. Local level?
b. National level?
c. Regional level?
d. International level?
