Say NO to Violence Against Women - Internet Conference - Government Leaders & Experts Participating

In the framework of International Event “16 days of Combating Gender Violence” an Internet Conference “Say NO to Violent against Women” will be hold from November 25 to Dec.10, 2008.

At the Conference discussion will be held between the civil society and decision-makers.

The Internet Conference is held within the scopes of 16-day action against violence and the project – “Joint Efforts of the State and Public Organizations to Promote Implementation of the Law on Family Violence”, with UNIFEM financial support.

Participation in this Conference is of great significance and we hope that the Conference will be effective and there will be not only consideration of the problem but also joint discussions on how to resolve the problem.

You are kindly invited to take an active part in the work of the Internet Conference and address your questions to its participants.

The Internet Conference has been organized by five NGOs that with the support of UN Fund for Eradication of Violence towards Women (UNIFEM) are implementing joint project “Interdepartmental and Social Measures to Cease Domestic Violence in Georgia: Joint Effort to Implement the Violence Combat Law in Georgia”.
