Nonviolence training provides Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) with
essential peacebuilding skills and concepts. These skills and concepts focus on
ways to increase social mobilization and countervailing power. Nonviolence
training aims to empower marginalized groups so that they can assert their
rights, create their own opportunities, and access resources.

Le WPP
soutiendra des formations à la non-violence au cours de l’année 2008 sous la
forme d’une aide financière, et en servant d'intermédiaire avec des formatrices
et des personnes pouvant aider et/ou en offrant du matériel de formation.

La formation à la non-violence fournit aux organisations
de la société civile (Civil Society Organisations – CSOs) des
compétences et des concepts essentiels à la construction de la paix. Ces
compétences et ces concepts s’attachent surtout à montrer comment stimuler la
mobilisation sociale et développer les pouvoirs compensatoires. La formation à
la non-violence a pour objectif d’équiper des groupes marginalisés de méthodes
leur permettant d’affirmer leurs droits, de créer leurs propres chances et de
se frayer un chemin à l’information.

financiero, relacionando capacitadoras con recursos humanos expertos, y/o dando
materiales para la capacitación.
La Formacion en la No violencia brinda a las
Organizaciones de la Sociedad Civil (Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)
conceptos y destrezas esenciales para la construcción de la paz.
Dichos conceptos y destrezas facilitan la
movilización social y el poder de ejercer oposición. La formación en la No
Violencia busca empoderar a los grupos marginalizados para que puedan afirmar
sus derechos, crear sus propias oportunidades y acceder a los recursos.

The Women Peacemakers Program (WPP) empowers women world-wide through gender-sensitive nonviolence training and education.
WPP is a program of the International Fellowship of Reconciliation (IFOR). Founded in 1919, IFOR is an inter-faith movement committed to active nonviolence, with branches and affiliates in 43 countries. IFOR has consultative status at the United Nations (ECOSOC) and has included six Nobel Peace Prize Laureates among its members.
