The Kolo: Women's Cross Cultural Collaboration (The Kolo: WCCC) focuses on intersecting women's collaboration, representation and advocacy for gender justice to halt gender violence internationally and nationally. Bringing healing to Novi Travnik

Every year, trauma expert Danica Anderson visits the tiny European nation of Bosnia as part of her ongoing work healing women traumatized by war. Fighting transformed the quaint town of Novi Travnik into a human shooting gallery, with snipers from opposing sides nesting in the mountain ranges on either side of town. Today, more than a decade after the conflict, the town languishes as its citizens struggle to recover both economically and emotionally. A growing number of women in town practice Anderson's trauma healing therapies in intimate community circles known as kolos.
