Pre-Registration Instructions

 

PLEASE TYPE OR PRINT CLEARLY .

 

Pre-Registration deadline:  Friday, 1 February 2008.  Pre-registration is necessary for ALL.  Please return Pre-Registration Form by fax, e-mail or post, even if your payment will follow.

 

1. You may pay directly via PayPal (credit cards accepted) through the NGO/CSW website, www.ngocsw.org. Otherwise, you may send a check drawn on a US bank, or a money order with your pre-registration form for full payment in $ U.S. made payable to NGO/C.S.W./N.Y, P.O. Box 3571, Grand Central Station, New York, NY 10163, U.S.A. Please indicate your name and the name of your organization on your check or money order.

 

2.  If you are coming from overseas, YOU STILL NEED TO PRE- REGISTER NOW!

If you cannot send your payment in advance or arrange it through PayPal, you may pay at the NGO CSW Administrative Offices, 708 3rd Ave., 5th Floor, Room 101, in Manhattan, on Saturday, 23 February, from 10 AM – 3 PM.  If necessary, you may pay at the Consultation, but this will lead to a delay in your registration.

 

If your organization is paying with one check for several participants, please enclose a check or money order in U.S. currency made payable to “NGO/C.S.W./N.Y.” and write the number of persons. You must fill out a separate pre-registration form for each person covered by the payment, including youth participants, i.e. persons between 18 and 23 years of age. If a person under 18 attends, he/she must be accompanied at all times on UN premises by a chaperon. Discounted fees apply.

The Conference is sponsored by the NGO CSW and other organizations, including the committees of the Conference of NGOs (CONGO), which represent the many hundreds of NGOs in consultative relationship with ECOSOC. Organization of the events is facilitated by the U.N. Division for the Advancement of Women.

 

NOTE:  Please see your confirmation letter from the U.N. Division for the Advancement of Women: <www.un.org/womenwatch/daw/csw/52sess.htm> for specific times and dates for

on-site registration of NGOs wishing to attend the meetings of the 52nd Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.  Be sure to bring your letter of confirmation and government-issued photo identification with you for registration at the United Nations.
