On behalf of Women’s Information Center let me inform you of the opening of the Conference "".

Session on domestic violence will be opened on 30th of October and session on trafficking will be opened the following day on 31st of October at the virtual platform www.conference.ginsc.net. For English translation, click to En - English.

The Conference will be attended (virtually) by experts, lawyers and jurists, professors and postgraduate students, all people who are concerned about combating trafficking and domestic violence in Georgia.

Within the following two weeks we will view the most topical problems and perspectives in the field, and we'll try to find the answers to as many questions as possible dealing with improvement of legislation, protection of shareholders' rights, prevention and prosecution etc.

The format of the Conference will allow you to have access to all materials and discussions without leaving your workplace. Besides, the participants will be able to communicate with others via internal e-mail (just send text of your messages to the wicmika@caucasus.net; info@ginsc.net; wicmika@ginsc.net ).

We hope that the Conference "Problems of trafficking and domestic violence in Georgia" will become the first step towards joining the specialists and creating the common

Georgian Internet-Conference space, which will provide free  access to the information and experience exchange, possibility to  communicate with the stakeholders in order to promote establishment of gender equality.
