GENDER, NUTRITION & FOOD SECURITY

In many regions of the world, gender inequality severely limits women's ability to provide food for their families. Women often face discrimination and roadblocks that deny them access to the resources they need to produce, process and prepare nutritious food for their families. ICRW's initiatives to fight hunger and nutrition include a focus on changing policies that overlook women, and encouraging collaboration between agriculturalists and nutritionists working at every level — on the ground, in the community and among high-level decision makers.
