I) Under the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Committee adopted Concluding Observations in respect of the following 7 States parties:

Next session

At its 45th session (21 May to 8 June 2007), the Committee will consider 12 reports from the following States parties:

a) Under the Convention, the reports of: Kazakhstan, Maldives, Slovak Republic, Uruguay.

b) Under the Optional Protocol to the Convention, on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography, the reports of: Bangladesh, Guatemala, Sudan, Ukraine.

c) Under the Optional Protocol to the Convention, on the Involvement of Children in Armed Conflict, the reports of: Guatemala, Monaco, Norway, Sweden.

Further attached is the revised global Reporting Schedule setting out the tentative consideration of State reports by treaty and session in 2007 and 2008. The schedule, correct as of 30 April 2007, is subject to change without notice.
