‘Online Kit on European Neighbourhood Policy and Gender’ has
been created as a part of KARAT’s East-East Project, titled: Building
Capacity of NGOs from Eastern European Neighboring Countries on monitoring
gender equality standards in the process of European integration.
Read about the project…
The Kit presents the main
information on European Neighbourhood Policy and EU gender standards
in a easy to understand manner. It is approaching the ENP issue from
gender and civil society perspective.
The Kit includes the basic information on European
Neighbourhood Policy (ENP). It gives answers to questions such as:
what is ENP? and how does it work? It also provides short gender
focused summaries of the main documents as well as the links to all
EU and national strategy papers, regulations, reports and action
plans relevant for Eastern Neighbours of EU. |
|
The Kit is addressed to all those interested in ENP in the
context of gender. In particular, it provides basis for further learning
and involvement of women’s NGOs from eastern EU Neighbouring countries in
the issue of ENP and the process of its implementation.
The Kit has been prepared by Joanna Szabuńko, Kinga Lohmann and
Anita Seibert (drawings) of KARAT Secretariat.
