Muslim Women’s Role in Cultural Development The sessions are being organized with the aim of familiarizing Muslim women
with their role and power in various fields and will examine important women’s
issues in the Islamic world and the rest of the world.
Subjects such as women and Islamic culture, women and economic development,
women and the activation of their political role, women’s rights from the
viewpoint of Islam, Muslim women in global conferences, and Muslim women and the
mass media are to be discussed.
Session participants will also make efforts to support Muslim women’s
activities in cultural and educational fields and to formulate strategies for
the elevation of their status in the Islamic world and non-Islamic
countries.

Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) plans to hold sessions to study Muslim women’s
affairs in Islamic and non-Islamic countries every second Monday of the month,
the Saudi Arabian daily Akaz reported recently.
