Dear Friends,

        The Center for Women's Global Leadership (CWGL) is planning a celebratory event on Thursday, December 7, 2006 in New York City for the 16th anniversary of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence campaign.  We are interested in involving our 16 days participants in creative ways to illustrate the impacts and the growth of the campaign.  We would like to display some of your 16 days creations (i.e. photos, poems, campaign posters, tool kits, etc.) during our December event.  Also, we are asking that you send us thoughtful messages (3-6 sentences long) of how 16 days has influenced your life and/or what the campaign has meant to you. Be aware that by sending us your work you have authorized CWGL to exhibit the materials at the event.

 

Do not forget to include your name, organization and the number of years you have participated in 16 Days.  Please send us your materials as an attachment and no later than November 20th.
