Life Together today welcomed the Concluding
Comments of the United Nations Committee on the
Elimination of Discrimination against Women
(CEDAW) on the Czech Republic’s compliance with
international law in the area of banning
discrimination against women, issued on 25 August
2006. The comments followed CEDAW review of the
Czech Republic at its 36th session, held in
