The rapid social, economic and political transition
that occurred in South-East Europe following the end of conflict in 1995
has left many older people in a very vulnerable position. This report
details the activities of a project to strengthen civil society and to
improve older people’s quality of life. Older people voice their opinions
on their status, and call for action to improve their
situation.
